Events

Throughout the year, the Knothole Foundation hosts numerous events at the Richard “Stick” Williams Dream Fields & Education Center. In fact, there are over 100 events each year! 

Signature annual Knothole Events include Carolinas Metro Reds Opening Day, our special Westside Story Spring Break Showcase and Tournament, and our Diversity in Baseball HBCU Camp & Showcase. This year’s Diversity in Baseball HBCU Showcase will be our 7th Annual celebration!

We also host community events such as National Night Out and Back to School Events and engage partner organizations (i.e., Tuckasegee Elementary School, East Voyager Academy, Wilson STEM Academy, Renaissance West STEAM Academy, Freedom School Partners, YWCA, YMCA, & Salvation Army) for a Day of Play at the Stick for youth to celebrate achievement and have some fun on the diamond.
