Happy Thursday to you and thanks for taking the time to check back in to read the Knothole Gang CLT Blog!

Today is a great day as I’m sitting here in my office watching the final touches being made to our turf project on our field here at the Richard “Stick” Williams Dream Fields and Education Center. Stay tuned for more on that as I will have a full blog post for you on everything turf!

On Monday, February 19, we celebrated the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. by hosting a free MLK Day Baseball Clinic for boys and girls ages 6 to 12. It was a huge success!

A total of 50 kids registered to take part in the clinic and everyone that came out had a great time. From start to finish, the clinic served as a great way for kids to learn the fundamentals of baseball and hear more about Dr. King’s legacy.

Big thanks to our coaches for this special clinic — Morris Madden, Matthew Corlew, Gerlea Patton & Reggie Barringer!

Below you will find five media stories from the day. Click on the images below for these great stories, highlighting that special day and all of the kids that came out.

We will continue to host more free baseball and softball clinics very soon, so stay tuned!
