(WEST CHARLOTTE, NC) – The Knothole Foundation is proud to host a special Back to School celebration on Friday, August 22 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., bringing the Charlotte community together for an evening of fun, unity, and friendly competition.
One of the highlights of the night will be a spirited on-field scrimmage game between the baseball teams from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD) and Charlotte Fire Department (CFD) — a showcase of camaraderie and community connection beyond the badge and the firehouse. The event will also feature a free baseball clinic for kids, a bounce house, hot dogs and much more.

The scrimmage game will serve as a warm-up for the 91st Annual Charlotte Chief’s Cup Baseball Game, which will take place on Saturday, September 13 at 6:30 p.m. in downtown Kannapolis at Atrium Health Ballpark.
