[WEST CHARLOTTE, NC] –The Knothole Foundation is thrilled to announce its Inaugural Halloween Costume Baseball Game, taking place on Thursday, October 30 at the Richard “Stick” Williams Dream Fields and Education Center, located at 7531 Tuckaseegee Road in West Charlotte. The first pitch is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.

This special event will feature local youth players ages 7 to 10 taking the field in their favorite Halloween costumes for a fun, lighthearted night of baseball and community spirit. The game will feature two local Little League teams from Steele Creek Athletic Association, this year’s inaugural recipients. This year’s game will feature two 10U baseball teams — the Turbos vs. the Blue Sox — which promises to deliver excitement, laughter, and plenty of photo-worthy moments for families and fans alike.

“This game is all about bringing the community together in a safe, festive, and creative way to celebrate the Halloween season,” said Tommy Viola, Knothole Foundation Chief Communications Officer. “We want to celebrate the joy of baseball and open up our state-of-the-art facility to a local Little League organization. We look forward to making this an annual game and incorporating even more local Little League associations next year.”

Families are encouraged to wear costumes and join in on the Halloween fun. The Knothole Foundation will provide candy for all children in Halloween costumes.

Additionally, the Knothole Foundation will also host a pre-game softball clinic for girls ages 7-14. Admission to the game and softball clinic is free, and all are welcome to attend.
