[WEST CHARLOTTE, NC] — The Knothole Foundation is excited to announce a new Girls in Sports initiative — providing youth female athletes in our area the opportunity to play softball and more. The initiative will begin with a free youth clinic for girls 5-12 years old this Saturday, March 29, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM, at the Richard “Stick” Williams Dream Fields and Education Center in West Charlotte.

All girls that take part in the free clinic this Saturday will also receive lunch following the clinic, and will also have the opportunity to take the field with the Queens University softball team, which will host Stetson University in a doubleheader at the Richard “Stick” Williams Dream Fields and Education Center beginning at 1:00 p.m. All fans are welcome out to watch the doubleheader, which will take place on the new turf field.
