As the weather heats up — and baseball season is officially in full swing — it’s time to start thinking about the event of the summer in the Queen City — the Knothole Foundation’s 7th Annual Diversity in Baseball HBCU Showcase. If you are a high school baseball player looking to get noticed — this is your event!
Over the course of the past six years of this amazing event, high school players have earned scholarships, learned valuable lessons, and have worked hard to become a better all-around player. That’s why an event like this is so important to the Knothole Foundation.
For all of Knothole’s events, life skills lessons play a big part. In fact, they are a huge part of all of our camps and clinics. That is even more true with this event — as 20+ college coaches will be on hand to talk to the high school baseball players that come out. There are always guest speakers as well. There’s an opportunity for more than just baseball over this two-day event.
As we plan for this year’s event, here is a look back at last year’s memorable event.
