The Knothole Foundation is thrilled to host its annual three-day event — Westside Story — at the Richard “Stick” Williams Dream Fields and Education Center in West Charlotte (April 8-10) during spring break.
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS: Beginning on Wednesday, April 8 at 9:00 AM, and running through Friday, April 10, The Stick will host high school baseball teams competing in a fun and competitive tournament, a pro-style workout, a middle school baseball game, as well as a special softball pitching academy with student athletes from the West Charlotte area.
The softball pitching academy will run from Monday, April 6 to Wednesday, April 8.
SCHOOLS COMPETING: The following six high school baseball teams that will compete in this year’s Westside Story tournament: West Meck, West Charlotte, Phillip O. Berry Academy of Technology, Albemarle High School, Jackson Day High School, and Garinger High School.

LUNCH & LEARN: Each of the days will feature a “Lunch & Learn” with guest speakers and more. More info on speakers to be announced soon.

CHAMPIONSHIP GAME: The championship baseball game will take place at 6:00 PM on Thursday, April 9 with ceremonial first pitches, a special National Anthem performance, and more scheduled.
