Every August, high school baseball players from around the country descend on West Charlotte for a two-day showcase. This one is special. The opportunities are endless.

The Knothole Foundation will host its 7th Annual Diversity in Baseball HBCU Showcase on August 5-6 at the Richard “Stick” Williams Dream Fields and Education Center, located at 7531 Tuckaseegee Rd. in West Charlotte, NC.

In all, we’ll welcome over 70 high school students on the field to showcase their abilities in front of 25+ college coaches, most of which will be on hand representing HBCUs.

Over the course of this two-day event, players will take part in on-field instruction, live batting practice, offensive and defensive drills, and so much more. Additionally, the event will feature simulated games on day two. There are even analytics that will be compiled.

On each of the days, the high school players will also take part in a special “Lunch & Learn” series consisting of a life skills event with a panel of coaches and more.

This year’s guest will be announced soon, and you won’t want to miss the opportunity to hear from this legendary former MLB player.
