May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and we are using this time to highlight the importance of emotional well-being both on and off the field. At Knothole, our mission is to develop “Major League Citizens,” NOT just major league players. While we love the game, our focus goes beyond the field. We utilize baseball and softball as a vehicle to provide mentorship, life skills training, and career/college readiness, ensuring our youth are prepared for every curveball life throws their way.
On May 23rd from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm, we are hosting a free Mental Health Awareness combined clinic for all young baseball and softball players, ages 6-12.
We will have special resources, prizes, and treats throughout the afternoon centered around mental health awareness and self-care. It’s a great way to celebrate the growth of the person behind the player and highlight the community support available through the Knothole Foundation.
Come out for the instruction, stay for the fun, and leave with the mental tools to win in sports and in life!
