(WEST CHARLOTTE, NC) — The U Deserve A Chance Foundation (UDACF) is proud to announce its 11th Annual Home Plate Gala, an evening dedicated to celebrating, supporting, and investing in youth athletes who otherwise lack access to baseball programs.

This year’s event will take place on Saturday, November 8th at the Courtyard Marriott in Fort Mill, SC.

This year’s award recipients are as follows:

Kenny ThomasLifetime Spirit of the Game

Chris Pollard – Spirit of the Game

Dr. James Fleischli – Guardian of the Game

UDACF aims to bridge the financial gap for individuals and organizations that are unable to afford the spiraling costs of participating in the sport. In doing this, we hope to help pave pathways to the future for our youth in need.

The mission of U Deserve A Chance Foundation is to promote and grow the game of baseball in under-served communities; and, to create life opportunities for young baseball players in need by developing their skills and abilities at the highest level.

11th Annual UDACF Home Plate Gala Details

CHECK-IN – 6:15pm

Cocktail hour from 6:30pm-7:30pm

Dinner 7:45pm-8:30pm

Awards and presentation from 8:30pm-10pm

Silent Auction closes at 10:30pm

The U Deserve A Chance Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to leveling the playing field in youth baseball by providing financial support, resources, and mentorship to underserved players and communities. UDACF believes that the lessons learned through the game—teamwork, grit, communication, leadership—help build future leaders on and off the field.udacf.org+1

Through initiatives including grants, partnerships with youth leagues, coaching development, and signature events like the Home Plate Gala, UDACF invests in the dreams of young athletes who deserve every chance to shine.
